Casa Caracol was one of the original houses at Rancho San Eric. Damaged by hurricane
Gilbert in 1988, its present owner reinvented it with a large living unit on the first
floor and guest quarters on the second floor.Casa Caracol is one of the most popular houses at Rancho San Eric. The Guest Quarters are shown further along on this page. |
The lower unit is essentially one large main room off of which there is a
kitchen and bath. This is the great room concept to the extreme.It is a wonderful open living and sleeping area. It is a great place for a family. The two sleeping areas can be separated by a curtain at night. |
Along the beach side of Casa Caracol, there are four sets of french doors that open
onto a wonderful terrace. |
The master sleeping area has a large double bed with a table behind. |
The children's sleeping area has two single beds. |
A large airy kitchen provides ample room for the chef of the family to flex
his culinary muscles! |
Four hammocks on the terrace give plenty of room for those afternoon naps. |

It consists of a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and balcony.The apartment is light, bright and tastefully decorated. These units are very popular. |
From the balcony there is a wonderful view of the ocean over
the palm trees. |
The kitchen and bath are compact but ample. They are finished in lovely
Mexican ceramic tile. |
